JOB DESCRIPTION:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

 

    Manage all admin and operational  functions relating to customers

RESPONSIBILITES RELATING TO  KEY PERFORMANCE AREA

Admin

 

  • Understanding both the associated service related pricing along with the respective operational equipment necessary to carry out day to day activities.
  • Daily costing
  • Capture and crosscheck costing on spreadsheets
  • Daily account capturing of disposals
  • Crosscheck disposal costs and documents
  • Filing of daysheets, admin filing
  • Assist with invoicing and crosscheck
  • Daily/Weekly wage capturing
  • AMS Fuel capturing and recon
  • Creditors processing
  •  

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY – BASIC UNDERSTANDING

 

  • Compliance with all health & safety requirements in line with the company''s OHS policies & procedures.
  • Work within the ISO14000 framework and other required by contracts.
  • Ensure all SHEQ policies and requirements are upheld and met.
  • Ensure SHEQ site file is implemented and maintained

 

 

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK

  • §            Regular communication with management
  • §            Understand and provide feedback on the needs of the client
  • §  Ensure all your superiors are notified in a timely manner regarding aspects of your areas as deemed necessary by them.
  • §  Ensure your manager is informed off all staff related matters that will affect the organisation in a dire manner immediately (e.g. IR).

 

FINANCE

  • Verify cost, lead time, deadlines and reporting
  • Identify possible cost saving opportunities (sales pricing and or vehicle selection)

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

  • §  Attend job specific training courses that would further upskill and develop the individual to a point that enhances their associated day to day activities and opportunities identification matrix.

 

 

ADHOC

  • §  Any other reasonable adhoc duty as required or requested by management.
  • §  It should be noted that individuals may need to expand their roles / scope to cover the work load of other employees in times of high work loads or individuals whom may be absent from work. This is the sole discretion of management.
