Admin Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client in Randburg is seeking a mature, friendly, and professional Admin/Reception Assistant to join a busy ophthalmology practice. You will work closely with two receptionists, providing support where needed to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service

Requirements

• Previous medical reception/administration experience preferred
• GoodX system experience – essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, bubbly personality with a professional and mature approach
• Strong character with the ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
• Handle calls and assist with patient queries
• Book and manage patient appointments using GoodX
• Call for medical aid authorisations when required
• Support the reception team with daily tasks and cover during busy periods
• Assist with the smooth running of reception for up to 62 patients per day
