This is not a back-office pricing role.
You’ll work on complex, high-impact pricing challenges across multiple insurers, collaborating directly with senior actuarial leaders and decision-makers. You’ll help shape rating structures, optimise portfolios, and influence strategy — not just maintain models.
You’ll be part of a team widely regarded as the benchmark for actuarial pricing excellence in South Africa.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and enhancing sophisticated GLM-based pricing models
• Leading and supporting end-to-end pricing reviews
• Advising insurers on segmentation, rating structure, and profitability improvement
• Translating technical modelling into clear commercial recommendations
• Engaging directly with senior actuarial and executive stakeholders
• Contributing to innovative thinking around modern pricing techniques

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years’ short-term insurance pricing experience (essential)
• Strong, hands-on GLM modelling experience (non-negotiable)
• Solid actuarial exam progression (good momentum toward qualification)
• Excellent technical foundations and commercial awareness
• Clear communication skills — able to explain complex models simply
• Ambition, drive, and intellectual curiosity
• A desire to work with — and learn from — the best
