Accounts Payable Professional (Contract)

POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for cross-border reconciliations and multi-currency transactions? My client is looking for a skilled inter-company accounts payable professional to manage and reconcile inter-company accounts across multiple regions and ensure accurate processing and the settlement of financial transactions.
 
The purpose for the accounts payable professional is to ensure accurate reconciliation of inter-company accounts for the US, Canada, UK, and Netherlands, with all invoices processed efficiently and payment settlements initiated in a timely manner.
 
As an accounts payable professional, you will be responsible for the following:

• Reconcile inter-company accounts, verify balances, and investigate discrepancies
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions related to inter-company activities
• Report weekly status updates and discrepancies to the Regional Heads of Finance
• Communicate and resolve queries with stakeholders across different regions
• Prepare settlement summaries for the Finance Manager and Head of Finance
• Collaborate with operations teams as an accountability partner
• Manage workload and communication across multiple global time zones

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in inter-company reconciliations
• At least 3 years’ experience in invoice processing and data capturing
• Proven multi-country and multi-currency accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Teams)
• Intermediate-level Excel skills
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
