Accounts Payable Clerk - FTC

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a dynamic international organisation, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing inter-company accounts across multiple global regions.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract that is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile inter-company accounts and investigate discrepancies with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions related to inter-company processing.
• Prepare weekly status reports on inter-company accounts and highlight discrepancies to the regional Heads of Finance.
• Communicate and resolve inter-company queries across various global regions in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare settlement documentation for review and action by the Finance Manager and Head of Finance.
• Partner closely with operations teams, acting as an accountability resource for financial clarity and alignment.
• Structure work hours to ensure seamless collaboration across multiple time zones, supporting global finance operations.

• Diploma/Degree in accounting or something finance related.
• 3 years proven experience in accounts payable, specifically with inter-company transactions.
• Strong reconciliation and investigation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a cross-border, multi-time zone environment.
• Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented approach.
