SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established construction firm, currently seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required:

B.Com Accounting degree.
General understanding and knowledge of the construction industry.
Experience with QuickBooks is desired.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying and entering transactions.
Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, and reconciling.
Ability to resolve discrepancies timeously.
Prepare weekly debtors reports, statements and supporting schedules.
Create and manage suppliers’.
Prepare and settle supplier payments.
Review and reconcile supplier accounts, liaise with suppliers and follow up on outstanding queries.
Ensure proper administration and organisation of documentation.
