Accounts Payable Accountant

My Client in the Property and Real-estate Industry is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Accountant who will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Preparing bank reconciliations, ageing report and Statement of Accounts
• Supporting internal and external audit requirements
• Processing invoices and expense claims
• Resolving all payables related issues with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintaining accounting ledgers and assisting in monthly closing
• Performing vendor and bank reconciliations
• Working with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, as well as prior experience in a similar role
• MUST speak English and Afrikaans fluently
• Well versed in the MS Office and accounting software
• Minimum 3-5 Years experience
