ACCOUNTS CLERK

Purpose: Provide professional accounts assistance to financial accountant and finance department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy are maintained at all times.

• Principal accountabilities :
• Responsible for Full Function Creditors including but not limited to:
• Accurate invoice processing
• Preparing Creditors Payment Recons and make payments timeously
• Maintain and reconcile creditors ledger accounts
• Storing information correctly in neat folders on One Drive
• Responsible for Full Function of Petty cash, including payments and receipts and petty cash reconciliations.
• Processing a
• Reconciling various general ledger accounts
• Assist with stock control
• Assist with Audit files
• Assist with Fixed Assets control
• Skills and Ability
• A high level of professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy with high level of accuracy.
• Excel and analytical skills a must.
• Syspro experience will be advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines/time constraints.
• Problem solving skills.
• Be able to communicate verbally in a clear, concise, professional, tactful, diplomatic and sincere manner on all levels.
• Ability to perform secretarial and clerical duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.
• Education & Experience
• Minimum education requirement – grade 12
• Proven experience in Bookkeeping essential
• General Office Administration experience required
