Accounts Assistant
Based in Marlboro Sandton
R14 - R18 000 ctc

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
  1. Worked with Pastel or similar accounting package
  2. Have decent Excel spreadsheet skills (not macro level)
  3. Have a minimum of a matric certificate and have studied bookkeeping
  4. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Function:
  • Costing of both sea and airfreight shipments
  • Providing all necessary invoices and other documents needed for foreign payments
  • Reconciliation of foreign creditor accounts before they are submitted for payment
  • Dealing with requests from the receiver of revenue for VAT queries
  • Processing journals relating to goods purchased
  • Assisting in reconciling certain Debtors
  • Helping prepare weekly cash flow information for review by Accountant
  • Assisting Accountant to prepare monthly management accounts
