Accounts Assistant
Based in Marlboro Sandton
R14 - R18 000 ctc

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Worked with Pastel or similar accounting package
Have decent Excel spreadsheet skills (not macro level)
Have a minimum of a matric certificate and have studied bookkeeping
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Function:

Costing of both sea and airfreight shipments
Providing all necessary invoices and other documents needed for foreign payments
Reconciliation of foreign creditor accounts before they are submitted for payment
Dealing with requests from the receiver of revenue for VAT queries
Processing journals relating to goods purchased
Assisting in reconciling certain Debtors
Helping prepare weekly cash flow information for review by Accountant
Assisting Accountant to prepare monthly management accounts
