SUMMARY:
Our client in the engineering field based in Rosslyn is looking for an Accounts Assistant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Roles and Responsibilities

Creditors/Debtors Reconciliations
Assistance with staff on/off-boarding
Data capturing
Filing and Sundry Admin
Manage office stationery and consumables
Maintaining debtors records
Assistance with payment/debt collection
Maintaining debtor's contracts (where applicable)
Creditor onboarding
Sending account statements
General debtors admin
Liaising with clients
Resolving general client queries
Processing of client invoices

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Experience with basic accounting software packages
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field is a distinct advantage
Experience with full function Creditors and Debtors (Minimum 2 years)
Good communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English
Knowledge and understanding of accounting systems and processes
Ability to work independently and without supervision
