Job Overview:
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is suited to a candidate with a solid understanding of basic accounting functions, who is eager to grow within a dynamic environment. While junior candidates will be considered, some practical experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Debtors and creditors administration
Processing and reconciling accounts
Assisting with payroll functions
Managing petty cash
Maintaining and updating the cash book
General bookkeeping and administrative support
Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company procedures

Minimum Requirements:

Basic accounting knowledge (qualification advantageous)
1–3 years’ relevant experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Experience with accounting software is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Personal Attributes:

Well-spoken, well-presented, and professional
Strong work ethic with a high level of integrity
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:

Must reside in or around the Benoni area
Own reliable transport
Sober habits

Remuneration:
Market-related, based on experience
