SUMMARY:
A giant in bulk liquid storage facilities is looking to hire a driven and conscientious Junior Accountant/ Accounts Administrator to work in close relations with the company’s Senior Accountant and Top Management to ensure deadlines and procedures are met timeously. The position is based in Johannesburg East.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A giant in bulk liquid storage facilities is looking to hire a driven and conscientious Junior Accountant/ Accounts Administrator to work in close relations with the company’s Senior Accountant and Top Management to ensure deadlines and procedures are met timeously. The position is based in Johannesburg East.

The successful candidate’s duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibility of finance administration
Reconciliation of bank balances to General Ledger balances
Capturing of cashbooks and previous day transactions of bank statements
Creditors reconciliations
Following up on tax invoices for payment quotations
Sending out of statements and capturing debtor statements and invoices
Ensuring that you support the company’s commitment to quality and customer focus

Education Requirements:

Matric
Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

4 years strong administration experience
Excellent knowledge in Finance and Finance related procedures
Knowledge in MS Packages
Critical thinker
Problem solver
Pays keen attention to detail
Works well in teams and able to maintain and build relationships
Strong time management skills
