Job & Company Description:
A well-established and fast-paced organisation within the travel and tourism sector is looking to appoint an Accounting Specialist to join their finance team based in Boksburg.

This opportunity is ideal for a BCom or Advanced Diploma-qualified individual with at least 3 years of accounting experience who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, processing accounting transactions, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end reporting. This role is perfectly suited to a candidate with strong attention to detail and a passion for working in a dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and maintain accounting transactions accurately
Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Maintain the integrity of financial records
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Assist the broader finance team with ad hoc duties

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
Exposure to month-end and year-end processes
Close attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
