Age: 18 - 35
Introduction:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This opportunity is ideal for an Employment Equity (EE) candidate who has recently completed a BCom degree or Diploma in Accounting and is looking to gain practical experience in a structured, supportive environment. This internship offers exposure to a wide range of accounting functions, laying a strong foundation for a successful finance career.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Completed BCom in Accounting or National Diploma in Accounting
• South African citizen, with preference for candidates from designated groups (EE)
• Must be unemployed and between the age of 18 and 35
• Little or no prior work experience required – or work experience could be an advantage
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word essential
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Prepared to start the bottom

• Assist with capturing of invoices, credit notes, and payments
• Support the finance team in processing daily transactions
• Reconcile debtors and supplier accounts
• Help prepare documentation for audits and month-end processes
• Maintain accurate filing and document control
• Assist with general administrative tasks within the finance department
• Learn and apply company accounting policies and procedures
• Support ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the finance team
