Are you an experienced Accounting Facilitator and Assessor who thrives in a structured, accredited training environment?
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected institution based in Durbanville, Cape Town, seeking a professional who is passionate about developing future finance professionals while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality and learner success.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing facilitation, assessment, mentorship and structured programme delivery within a regulated (SETA/QCTO) environment.
What You Will Be Doing

Facilitate accredited QCTO qualifications, part-qualifications and skills programmes in Bookkeeping and Financial Administration

Deliver engaging, learner-centred sessions across theory, practical and workplace-based learning

Conduct assessments and manage Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) in line with compliance standards

Support moderation processes and ensure audit readiness at all times
-
Develop lesson plans, assessment schedules and structured learning material

Provide ongoing learner support, mentorship and performance tracking

Prepare learners for workplace integration, including internships and placements
-
Engage with industry partners to support workplace-based learning opportunities
-
Contribute to the development of online and blended learning content
Minimum Requirements
-
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Financial Administration, Bookkeeping or related field (NQF 6 or higher preferred)

ETDP SETA Assessor and/or Moderator accreditation
-
Minimum 2 years’ facilitation experience in an accredited environment
-
Minimum 2 years’ assessor experience, including PoE management

Experience within a FET/TVET College, Private College or SETA-accredited training provider

Strong working knowledge of:

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)

Experience working with LMS platforms

Valid South African driver’s licence
Advantageous Experience

Exposure to QCTO frameworks and workplace-based learning models

Experience facilitating online or blended learning programmes

Familiarity with the Financial Administration Clerk qualification
-
Experience using Moodle
-
Proven ability to support learners in both academic and workplace environments
-
Ability to engage and manage diverse learner groups effectively
