Accounting & Outsource Manager

SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for an Accounting & Outsourcing Supervisor to lead client accounts, mentor a growing team, and drive innovation in a modern accounting environment. POSITION INFO:

Manage outsourced accounting services for a portfolio of clients
Review and finalise monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Supervise and support junior accountants and team leads
Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
Identify areas for process improvement and support automation projects
Ensure timely delivery and compliance with relevant accounting standards
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of post-articles experience in a supervisory or team lead role
Proficiency in Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate) is beneficial
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised
Experience in a client-facing or commercial finance environment is advantageous
Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Qualification:
Relevant BCom degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
Completed articles (e.g., SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA)
A professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), AGA(SA), PA(SA), CGMA) is beneficial but not essential
