Are you an Accountant or Senior Accountant with strong public sector exposure and reporting experience? A Bloemfontein-based opportunity is available for a finance professional ready to work on national projects with travel involved.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
This role is suited to a SAICA or SAIPA qualified professional with newly qualified to 3 years’ post-qualification experience. The position offers exposure to public sector environments and requires strong reporting capability, with national travel across Free State, Western Cape, and Pretoria.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and governance across projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial reports
Ensure compliance with public sector regulations
Support audit and governance requirements
Engage with stakeholders across multiple provinces
Maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
SAICA or SAIPA
Experience:
Newly Qualified up to 3 years’ post-qualification experience
Public sector exposure advantageous
Skills:
Strong reporting ability
Solid understanding of public sector financial environments
Ability to travel nationally
Strong attention to detail and compliance focus
Non-negotiables:
Willingness to travel nationally
Strong reporting capability
