A well-established company in the telecommunications is looking for a Financial Accountant (Order to Cash) to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations.

In this role, you will support financial decision-making by collecting, processing, analyzing, and reporting financial data. You will be responsible for accounting processes within the Order to Cash team, with a strong focus on commissions and revenue assurance. This is a hands-on position requiring technical expertise, analytical ability, and strong problem-solving skills.

As an Accountant you will:

Prepare journals, financial statements, and statutory reports.
Process accounting corrections and transactions related to customer accounts and commission structures.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including dropsafe reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Analyse monthly bank charges and present insights to stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and compliant financial records in line with company policies.
Support annual budget preparation and year-end audits, liaising with auditors where required.
Ensure full compliance with internal audit requirements.
Collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
BComm Accounting / BCompt degree (SAIPA registration advantageous).
Minimum 4 years in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role
Strong technical accounting skills with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and team management.
