What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Produce accurate final counts completely up to the income statement stage.
• Generate and review monthly balance sheets and income statements efficiently.
• Perform daily cash ups and point-of-sale reconciliations for multiple retail stores.
• Monitor multi-unit inventory valuations, stock movements, and cost of sales metrics.
• Process supplier invoices and reconcile trade creditor ledger accounts.
• Manage the Fixed Asset Register and process accurate depreciation journals.
• Review and clean general ledger entries to ensure correct cost allocations.
• Submit monthly VAT and payroll statutory returns to SARS on time.
• Communicate financial variances and operational insights clearly to management.
  
  What You Need to Apply (Qualifications & Experience)

• A completed Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting or a similar relevant Accounting Diploma.
• Proven experience producing full trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Previous experience within the food catering, hospitality, or takeaway retail business will be a distinct added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in modern cloud-based accounting packages and point-of-sale software integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for investigating stock and cost variances.
• A highly disciplined work ethic, exceptional time management, and clear communication skills.
