SUMMARY:
Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage electronic banking payments
  • Address various stakeholders queries and requests for information
  • Check salaries and incentives
  • Review store processing done by bookkeepers
  • Review management accounts
  • Resolve queries with SARS
  • Working knowledge of the following:
    • Provisional taxes
    • Employee''s taxes
    • IT 14SD recons
    • Dividends tax
    • VAT
    • Audits (from clients perspectives)
  • Experience with e-filing, electronic banking
  • Budgeting
  • Cash flow/business plans
  • Manage, mentor, train and assist bookkeepers
  • Motivate bookkeepers

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Bcom Degree
  • Strong Pastel and Microsoft office skills
  • Member of SAIPA advantageous
  • Experience managing 5+ staff
