Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the finance function across reporting, compliance, audit preparation, and month-end activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business decision-making through reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting schedules
Perform balance sheet, VAT, and other key reconciliations
Prepare annual financial statements and support audit requirements
Assist with month-end reporting and management accounting processes
Process journals and maintain the integrity of financial information
Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements
Support finance and operational teams with accounting queries
Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc projects

Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualification:

BCom Accounting or related finance qualification
Completed Articles essential
CaseWare experience essential

Experience:

Experience preparing Annual Financial Statements
Strong VAT and reconciliation experience
Exposure to month-end reporting and financial accounting processes
Experience supporting audit and compliance requirements

Skills:

Strong CaseWare proficiency
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Resilient and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
