POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Process and maintain daily financial transactions and bank reconciliation
Record and reconcile customer receipts and banking transactions accurately and timeously
Prepare journals and supporting documentation for accounting transactions
Perform month-end reconciliations and financial reporting activities
Manage general ledger reconciliations and accounting records
Assist with debtors, creditors, and cash management functions
Liaise with banks and manage banking-related administration
Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with internal controls
Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes
Work closely with management and provide support on ad-hoc financial matters
Act as a support function across the finance department when required

Skills & Experience:

8–10 years' accounting experience preferred
Strong financial accounting and reconciliation experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven approach
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
ERP system experience - advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to work overtime when required to meet deadlines
Own reliable transport - non-negotiable

Qualification:

Accounting Diploma, Degree OR Equivalent
Completed Articles - advantageous
