POSITION INFO:
A well-established and fast-paced organisation within the financial services sector is looking to appoint a skilled Accountant to join their team based in Randburg.

This opportunity is ideal for a BCom-qualified finance professional with strong exposure to the full accounting function and an understanding of the micro-lending environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end financial management of the micro-lending business, ensuring compliance with NCR legislation and internal credit policies while supporting the overall finance function.

This role is perfectly suited to a candidate who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment and is eager to gain valuable industry exposure within a growing and dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end financial management of the micro-lending business
Ensure compliance with NCR legislation and internal credit policies
Maintain and manage financial records and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
Monitor and manage credit-related financial processes
Support financial reporting and operational finance functions
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree essential
2–3 years' post-qualification experience
Exposure to the micro-lending or financial services industry advantageous
Strong understanding of NCR legislation and credit policies
Experience with reconciliations and reporting processes
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
