Our client, a progressive and fast-growing organisation, is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing both core financial accounting and hands-on transactional duties.

In this role, you will take ownership of high-volume financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory and internal standards. If you have a strong passion for numbers, precision, and contributing to informed business decision-making, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and tax submissions.
Monitor departmental budgets and support initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Oversee the full accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers on a monthly basis.
Monitor daily attendance through the ERS system and provide financial insights to support effective operational planning.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom Accounting Degree
8 - 10 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting.
Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
