POSITION INFO:

A well-established organisation in the healthcare and services sector is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to join their team based in Pretoria East.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who understands structured environments, values strong controls, and enjoys being close to the day-to-day numbers that keep a business running smoothly.

You’ll work within a stable, professional finance team, supporting reporting, controls, and compliance in a regulated, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accounting function support across day-to-day finance operations
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
• Balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Review and processing of journals and accruals
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit queries
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate financial data

• BCom degree (required)
• 5 years’ commercial accounting experience
• Experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or services environments advantageous
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
