SUMMARY:
An established retail company is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting smooth financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:

Ensure that daily financial records are kept accurately and complete
Ensure that correct procedures are followed for completion of documents, submissions and payments are done timeously
Process accounting transactions and ability to pull reports to ensure that all accounts are reconciled correctly on a monthly basis
Assist with Bank Reconciliations and administration
Assist with Cashbook and credit card processing
Assist Journal entries and General Ledger maintenance
Creditors – applications, reconciliations and payment preparation
Maintain good electronic filing system and archiving at all times

Skills & Experience:
3+ Years Accounting Experience
Retail, FMCG, or Property Industry Experience – REQUIRED
Computer Literate
Knowledge of Accounting
High attention to detail
Accurate, neat, meticulous, and professional approach to record keeping, administrative tasks
Excellent communication skills
Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports

Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance
