SUMMARY:
Recruiting for an Accountant role, based in the Rooihuiskraal area.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-driven, analytical, and solutions-oriented Accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Join this Group and become part of a dynamic finance team where your expertise will help shape the efficiency and accuracy of their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and sub-ledgers monthly.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including audit support.
Oversee the fixed asset register and cashbook/payment processes.
Perform reconciliations of inter-company loans and transactions.
Handle VAT & PAYE monthly reconciliations.
Compile monthly management reports across multiple entities.
Support the development and enhancement of accounting systems, policies, and internal controls.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Finance/ Accounting (or relevant accounting qualification).
3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
CaseWare experience essential.
SAGE Intacct experience advantageous.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
