SUMMARY:
We are in search of an Accountant to join our team!

This opportunity presents itself within an established distribution and supply company based in Germiston.

POSITION INFO:
Ensuring transactions are recorded accurately, complete and in accordance with IFRS & ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

Intercompany accounts reconciliation., complete and accurate Trial Balance, company secretarial duties, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

Duties:

Cash flow preparation
Management accounts: Accurate and complete General Ledger accounts and reconciliation including balance sheet reconciliations
Bank reconciliation and processing for various branches
Weekly/Monthly Inter-company transactions & Reconciliations
Planning, implementing and evaluating internal controls across the entire group
Budgeted vs Actual reporting and identifying any discrepancies
Oversee credit note/ returns
Debt collection and debtors book maintenance
Creditors reconciliations
Assist in ensuring good Compliance standing with regulatory bodies, Secretarial duties: VAT Audits, Company registrations, VAT registrations etc.
Assist in Year-end financial statements and Audits-Liaising with external auditors
Group international reporting
SARS Submissions where applicable

Requirements:

Relevant Bachelor of Commerce related degree
Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles
1 - 2 years post articles experience
1 - 3 years debtors collection experience
Strong IFRIS experience
Bilingual, fluent in English and Afrikaans
