They are currently seeking a dynamic Account Manager: Group Schemes to join their high-performing sales team.

Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will drive business development within the Group Schemes sector by building, nurturing, and enhancing high-value relationships with external partners. You will turn data and market research into actionable strategies, lead key account planning, and manage complex partner relationships to deliver sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Partner Management: Build and execute relationship management plans targeting key decision-makers and influencers to open new sales avenues.

• Insights & Market Analysis: Monitor sales data, assess market trends, and conduct primary research to refine product positioning and optimize sales strategy.

• Sales Planning & Execution: Design and coordinate targeted sales campaigns and product initiatives to maximize commercial returns.

• Project Portfolio Oversight: Oversee a portfolio of product-related projects, regularly updating leadership on milestones and deliverables.

• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with internal standards and external financial regulations (FAIS/FICA) across sales activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 Equivalent (Essential).

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (Advantageous).

• FAIS Accreditation (Advantageous).

Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of proven experience in Group Schemes sales and administration within the long-term insurance industry (Essential).

• Strong background in marketing or sales within Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance (Advantageous).

• In-depth understanding of FAIS, FICA, and risk management principles (Advantageous).

• High commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills, and expert account management capabilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.
