SUMMARY:
Account Manager (External) - R30k p/m - Perm - Greenstone, JHB - AA only

POSITION INFO:

Your strong sales skills and relevant industry experience are needed by this leading company in the security sector. The main purpose of this position is to sell products to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer\''s place of business.
Duties include but are not limited to:
ï‚· Achieving sales, revenues and profitability targets within the allocated client base or area
ï‚· Identifying and developing new clients within the allocated client base or area.
ï‚· Provide regular feedback and reports to the responsible Sales Manager on activity
ï‚· Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements
ï‚· Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate Company objectives, targets and budgets.
ï‚· Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and recommend price schedules and discount rates.
ï‚· Delivers sales presentations to clients and displays or demonstrates product
ï‚· Regularly meets with clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material and training.
ï‚· Monitors and evaluates competition activities and products.
ï‚· Ensures calendar / CRM system updated
ï‚· Ensures effective use of sales tools provided by the Company. These could be marketing, product or business related tools.
ï‚· Forecasting of current and future potential business within the client base
ï‚· Schedule client visits to ensure consistent contact
ï‚· Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
ï‚· Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area.
ï‚· Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations
ï‚· Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the Company.
ï‚· Assists with all Stock Takes.
ï‚· Monitor debtors together with finance department
ï‚· Work with all personnel responsible for the on-going quality service as required by the client – Management team, product managers, technical consultants, sales consultants, counter sales, procurement, warehousing, operations, finance and administration.
ï‚· Ensure ISO procedures with respect to pricing policy, discounts and SLA agreements are adhered to.
ï‚· Attend meetings as stipulated or scheduled by the Management team.
ï‚· Solves technical queries on products, by providing either telephonic support or on site support.
ï‚· Gives afterhours support to clients, where necessary.
ï‚· Assists fellow Sales Representatives with the support of their clients during illness, annual leave or general unavailability.
ï‚· Assists the Branch Supervisor in the management of all slow moving, excess and redundant stock.
ï‚· Assists the Branch Supervisor with monthly stock forecasting.
ï‚· Maintains ISO compliancy

General requirements:

ï‚· Matric Certificate
ï‚· Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the security industry.
ï‚· Current valid driver’s licence
ï‚· Road worthy and licensed motor vehicle
ï‚· Must be computer literate
