SUMMARY:
A leading South African retailer is looking for a motivated and dependable Account Executive to join their team.

The role focuses on building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients within an assigned portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, able to work independently and collaboratively, and skilled in promoting the companyâs products and services.

Describe the role and its core responsibilities:

Must be customer focused and flexible with good relationship-building skills
Innovative thinker, continuously looking at new ways to grow revenue
Strong communicator, works well in a team, displays leadership skills
Formulate and implement account development plans
Ability to work with multiple projects under tight deadlines
Self-driven
Must be well-read, open to new ideas and influences and able to react to changing trends
Achieve and exceed assigned targets
Good business sense and sales ability with strong presentation skills
Track and report on key sales
Provide Clients with insights on execution opportunities
Ability to resolve conflict issues with customers in a professional manner
Deal with all Client requests in a timeously
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Management of client contracts
Maintain a good relationship with clients, third party companies and all stakeholders
Track and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
Report and escalate to management as needed

Requirements:

3-5 yearsâ experience within advertising, FMCG or retail industry
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of effective management of sales, meeting and increasing sales budgets
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of the POS industry is helpful, but not essential.
Strong computer skills
Confidentiality
Time-management and organization skills
