Account Co-ordinator - R35000 p/m - Parkview, JHB - Perm

POSITION INFO:

Our Client, a creative design house that designs and manufactures uniforms for game lodges, resorts and the corporate sector needs a competent individual to join their team. Duties are not limited to but include:

• Total control of corporate accounts , ensure stock levels for stock clients are maintained.
• Client to be communicated when stock levels are low with a suggested top up order .
• Capturing of weekly stock orders , liaising with the client and confirming order .
• Invoicing client for weekly orders.
• Create packing slip for dispatching to stores.
• Logging courier collection to stores and emailing client to advise on dispatch .
• Follow up on signed delivery notes from stores and e-mailing client the signed delivery note and invoice for payment .
• Forward planning seasonal orders with client and securing fabric and trims with suppliers .
• Chasing seasonal orders so they are placed timeously for the expected delivery .
• Checking the orders sent by stores , consolidating the orders .
• Chasing client to confirm the order .
• Securing factory space and planning production with the factories .
• Statements must be run monthly and sent to clients to chase payments.
• Receipting payments on sage .
• Once seasonal orders are paid for cut sheets are raised.
• Production markers are to be co-ordinated with the relevant pattern person.
• Follow through on production with supplier and keeping the client up to speed on any delivery changes .
• Ensuring all garments are QC’d timeously and garments are within tolerance.
• Co-ordinating with the dispatch with deliveries .
• Monthly internal stock take , to check stock levels tie up to Stock record sheet.
• Annual negotiation with suppliers for corporate clients costings.
• Return: checking of returns upon receipt , ensuring garment is unused and not altered ,capturing of returns back into stock .
• Raising the credit note to the correct invoice dispatched.
• Costing on new accounts given.
• Monthly update of cash flow and projections for upcoming months .
• Assisting with any and everything else when required.

General requirements:

Relevant financial qualification
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
Strong SAGE software skills
Strong MS Excel skills
Previous knowledge and experience in the clothing industry
Excellent people skills, very good planning and forecasting skills
