Duties and Responsibilities:
We are recruiting an Abattoir Supervisor to oversee daily slaughtering operations, ensure compliance with meatâsafety regulations, and manage staff performance. The ideal candidate is handsâon, disciplined, and confident in managing highâvolume abattoir processes.
- Managing staff schedules, performance, and training
- Monitoring equipment, workflow, and operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate production, traceability, and compliance records
- Enforcing biosecurity, PPE, and safety protocols
- Coordinating with inspectors, veterinarians, and management
- Managing stock control, waste reduction, and coldâchain integrity
