Skills & Requirements:

• FinOps certification or AWS Solutions Architect certification

• 3-5 Hands-on experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or cloud operations (preferably AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of AWS pricing models, billing practices, and cost management tools.
  • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams to drive accountability.
  • A keen eye for data and trends, with the ability to simplify complex cost structures.
    • Experience with tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost Anomaly Detection, CloudHealth, or Apptio (a plus).

Your day-to-day will involve:

• As a FinOps Practitioner, you''ll work closely with our AWS customers to drive cloud cost optimization, governance, and financial accountability. You’ll bridge the gap between Finance, Engineering, and Cloud Operations—delivering insight, automation, and strategy that ensures our customers get the most out of every AWS service they use.Creating real-time dashboards and tailored reports using AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, and QuickSight.
• Performing deep-dive spend evaluations and identifying optimization opportunities (e.g., rightsizing, reserved instances, spot instances, storage tiers).
• Designing and delivering cost-saving proposals with clear ROI and business impact.
• Leading FinOps training sessions and building reusable playbooks for customers.
• Helping customers set budgets, forecast cloud spend, and implement cost guardrails.
• Automating cost optimization tasks using AWS-native tools like Lambda and CloudFormation.
• Driving continuous improvement with regular reviews, reporting, and strategic updates.
