POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT for a growing concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

BCom in Accounting / Finance.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

Person must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Pastel Partner / Payroll and CaseWare ESSENTIAL!

+3 yrs relevant working experience in an accounting firm.

Prepare financial statements and management accounts.

Compile accounting reports.

Review and submit statutory SARS returns.

Provide numerous clients with accounting / tax related advice.

Stay up to date with standard procedures related to the field.

Work independently.
