A legal practice based in Paarl is seeking to appoint a motivated Article Clerk with Right of Appearance to join their team. This role offers a valuable opportunity for a candidate looking to gain practical exposure within a busy legal environment and develop their professional legal skills.
The successful candidate will assist with a range of legal and administrative tasks while supporting attorneys with matters across the practice.
Key Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys with legal research and case preparation
• Drafting basic legal documents, correspondence, and court papers
• Attending to court appearances where applicable
• Liaising with clients, courts, and other stakeholders
• General administrative and file management duties

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Completed LLB
• Right of Appearance in the Magistrates’ Court
• Previous exposure to a legal practice environment will be advantageous
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
