Location: Germiston

Stipend: R4 500 – R5 500 per month

WHAT YOU NEED

- Matric with Maths & Physical Science

OR

- N2/N3 Technical qualification with relevant trade subjects

- Mechanical & electrical knowledge

- Troubleshooting & fault‑finding ability

- Ability to read technical drawings & schematics

- Strong safety awareness

- Able to work under pressure

- Self‑driven & eager to learn

COMPUTER SKILLS

- Basic computer literacy

- Microsoft Office (advantageous)

- Exposure to PLC/HMI systems (advantageous)

- Basic understanding of maintenance/workshop systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist qualified Millwrights with electrical & mechanical maintenance

- Participate in practical & theoretical training throughout the apprenticeship

- Assist with fault‑finding, troubleshooting & repairs

- Perform preventative maintenance & routine inspections

- Learn to read & interpret technical drawings & schematics

- Follow all company safety standards & procedures

- Maintain good housekeeping in workshop & production areas

- Assist with installations, modifications & maintenance of machinery

- Complete training logs, maintenance documentation & job records accurately

- Work effectively in a team while developing technical skills

- Attend training sessions, assessments & trade‑related activities

- Perform additional tasks assigned by Supervisors or Management
