ADMIN MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a large organisation in the RIGGING & MACHINE MOVING industry, based in PINETOWN, to recruit an ADMIN MANAGER, R20 000 basic + benefits.  

 

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN DOING BUSINESS FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS AND ARE MARKET LEADERS IN SOUTHERN AFRICA CONCERNING RIGGING AND MACHINE MOVING. THEY ALSO OFFER WAREHOUSING AND ABNORMAL LOW-BED SERVICES.

 

Applicants should have/be the following:

 

        Matric.

        A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

        A financial qualification, an advantage.

        Payroll experience.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

Management of direct reports

 

Responsible for supervising debtors, creditors and salary staff

Building relationships to strengthen collaboration in the financial team

Ensures all LBT policies and procedures are accurately followed, and that safe and efficient work practices are maintained

Ensures knowledge management and retention of all debtors, creditors and salary staff documentation

Provides support and regular feedback to the CFO in the areas of debtors, creditors and salaries


Financial Processes

 

Ensures accurate and timeous data capturing and accounts processing

Conduct required audit processes for the debtors, creditors and salary functions to monitor compliance and ensure consistent application of policies and processes

Escalates any discrepancies to the CFO

Review debtors, creditors and salary staff processes to ensure service excellence

Communicate and implement improvement initiatives in the debtors, creditors and salary functions

Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure processes and timelines are met

Audit of the weekly fuel bill, ordering of fuel cards and dealing with all fuel related queries

Handling all cell phone related queries. Upgrades, New contracts, Billing, Spend and Deduction analysis

Checking that all Vendor and Supplier agreements and contracts are accurately completed and that the relevant supporting documentation is attached

Ensuring that the return of earnings and payload stats is accurately calculated and timeously submitted.

Managing all FEM claims.

Vehicle licencing

First release on banking platform. Daily balance checks to ensure that adequate funds are available for daily payments.

Car and flight bookings

Cashbook capturing


Employee Benefit Management

 

Review employee benefits annually to ensure they are market related and relevant

Make recommendations to the Financial Manager to make necessary adjustments

Liaise with benefit service providers to communicate and educate employees about the employee benefit offerings

 

Legal Compliance

 

Maintaining and submitting of BEE records in respect of training, donations and procurement

Monitoring and ensuring good standing with regards to payroll taxes

Auditing and ensuring the accuracy of the all payroll returns to the relevant authorities/entities

 

Petty Cash Management

 

Petty cash reconciliation and replenishments of all divisions

 

Remuneration:

 

R20 000 + benefits.
