SUMMARY:
Our client in the Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals industry is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the handling of all Warehouse related functions. This position is available immediately.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

Matric.
Diploma in Supply Chain/Warehouse Management or further studies in this field will be advantageous.
At least 3 years’ experience in Warehouse Operations, ideally in the Pharmaceuticals/Health Care industry.
Proven supervisory experience with at least 2 years at Senior level.
Computer literate – MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Pastel.
Proven supervisory experience.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer service orientated.
Self-motivated and disciplined.

Core duties will include:

Managing Warehouse team members.
Appropriate handling of goods received, inspections and verification of documentation.
Safe handling and storage of stock.
Manage stock counts.
Order preparation (picking, packing).
Ensure safe and effective dispatch of goods.
Inventory management.
Data capturing on Pastel.
General administration.
Maintain adequate Health and Safety measures in compliance with Health and Safety legislative requirements.
