6-Month Contract role - Admin Assistant

We are urgently looking for an Admin Assistant to join the team on a 6-month contract, with a salary between R9-11,000 per month (Dependant on experience and qualification(s)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Contacting new owner-drivers.

• Following up with contractors regarding outstanding paperwork.

• Posting and communicating month-end deadlines.

• Informing management when vehicles stop running or when owner-drivers are not cooperating.

• Digitally renaming, converting, and filing all paperwork received.

• Maintaining the waybill upload sheets in Excel, ensuring they are:

  • Neat

  • Detailed

  • Accurate

• Sending summary sheets to contractors regularly, at least once a week.

• Assisting with contractor queries relating to capturing.

• Conducting weekly checks, including a more thorough check at month-end.

Requirements:

• Previous administrative experience.

• Good organisational and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Courier industry experience would be preferable.
