SUMMARY:
Our client has a national footprint that specializes in the innovative operations and management of boiler plants on behalf of Industrial clients. They require the skills of a Maintenance Fitter that will report to the Maintenance Manager in the region.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Grade 12 / Technical Qualification.
Mechanical engineering qualification (N3)
4 years apprenticeship & trade tested.
Red Seal Fitter.
Must be willing to relocate if necessary.
Be prepared to undergo further training or studies.

Experience:

Responsible for mechanical duties and breakdowns within Gauteng region.
Responsible for undertaking all preventative and pro-active maintenance on the boiler plant and associated equipment designated to the fitter.
Experience with the maintenance and operation of pressure equipment, coal, and oil-fired boiler plant.
Serve on the H&S committee.
Work with minimal supervision and be available for standby duties.

Proven ability to problem-solve.
Reliability and thoroughness of work performed.
Positive and proactive engagement with teams.
Excellent communication skills.
Working under constant pressure.
Attention to detail.
Good command of English (Speak, read, write)
