SUMMARY:
We are seeking 1 x Journalist and 1 x Reporter for permanent junior roles based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 
Journalist -

• At least 3 years of reporting or content writing for print, radio, or digital media
• Qualification: Diploma or degree in Journalism, Communication, or English
• Strong research and writing abilities
• Ability to develop community-driven stories
• Familiarity with ethical journalism practices
• Confidence in interviewing and sourcing credible information

• Minimum 3 years in field reporting, radio presenting, or multimedia storytelling
• Qualification: Diploma or certificate in Journalism, Media Studies, or Communication
• Confident on-mic and on-camera presence
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Quick thinking and ability to report live or under deadlines
• Familiarity with social media and newsroom workflows
