JOB DESCRIPTION:

½ DAY / FULL DAY PERM ACCOUNTANT | BOOKKEEPER – CBD, Cape Town

R15 000 – R30 000 Per Month Negotiable depending on Qualification and years of relevant experience

Commercial Property Services company is in search of a competent individual to take over and maintain their centralised accounting function for their operations nationally.

One would describe you as an approachable and engaging self-starter who is highly numerically inclined as well as possesses solid financial and business acumen.

Key Deliverables:

Preparation of monthly regional management accounts
Setting cash flow forecasts, budgets and compiling accounts for month end review and for year-end audit
Process daily sales invoicing from the Broker files
Follow up on outstanding debtors
Processing of all suppliers invoicing and reconciliations monthly
Checking and loading of monthly creditors
Reconcile bank and petty cash accounts weekly
Prepare Tax (VAT, PAYE) for payment
Prepare commission input sheet and month end payrolls for salaried and commission based employees nationally

Qualification and Experience required:

Finance related Degree or relevant studies
Minimum 6 years full financial accounting experience up to b/sheet and management reporting
Working knowledge of Sage Pastel Partner and / or another advanced Accounting package (Xero, etc.)
Proven proficiency on MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
Proven payroll experience
Work experience gained within the property / related industry would be highly advantageous!
