Location: JHB East, Kempton Park | Salary: R500K–R600K CTC per annum

Are you a detail-driven Cost Accountant with a solid understanding of production costing and a passion for optimizing financial performance in a manufacturing environment? A well-established company in the retail and manufacturing sector is looking for a skilled professional to take ownership of cost accounting and financial operations.
This is a high-impact role where your insights will directly influence strategic decisions and operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage production costing across multiple product lines
• Compile and review monthly financial reports with supporting schedules (customers, suppliers, inventory – local and foreign)
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT and Tax returns
• Oversee monthly salary payroll and supervise weekly wage payroll
• Manage SARB applications for foreign transactions via banking platforms
• Lead cashflow planning and forecasting
• Ensure financial compliance with relevant regulations
• Monitor and enhance internal financial controls

• Proven experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial functions
• Experience in retail or manufacturing finance is a strong advantage
