SOCIAL MEDIA AND EVENTS COORDINATOR INTERN (12 MONTHS PROGRAM)

SUMMARY:
In this role as an intern you will gain valuable workplace experience to support the overall business in the marketing and sponsorship department including events and hospitality management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric – Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) Non-negotiable

• Qualification in Marketing Management or Digital Marketing and Social Media
• Good Knowledge of MS Office 365
• Passion in digital marketing and social media content creation and management
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and in tune with trends
• Creative and eager to learn
• Strong cross functional communication skills
• Comfortable presenting and pitching social media concepts
• Able to work independently
• Able to work in and thrive in a in a fast fast-paced environment 
• Must be well organised
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities
• Deadline driven
• Detail oriented and accurately checking processes 

KEY TASKS:

• Develop and execute social media content plans to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms
• Generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives to drive audience growth and interaction
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote events
• Assist with events and hospitality management
