Yard Supervisor

Our client is a well-known Retailer looking for an experienced Yard Supervisor with building material product knowledge to join their Randburg branch

Minimum requirements:

• 5+ years of Yard coordination/supervision experience
• Code 10 Drivers License / Forklift / Bobcat
• Proven track record with contactable references
• Computer Literate – MS Office, Babbage
• Excellent product knowledge – building materials

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating Yard functions and procedures
• Coordinating Deliveries
• Maintain company standards by ensuring adherence to dress codes, systems and procedures, safety regulations, timekeeping, and attendance
• Staff discipline
• Promote teamwork
• Improve/monitor staff morale
• Keep casual attendance registers
• Check invoices of goods received within the yard
• Stock Control
• Monitor stock availability
• Deal with customer complaints
• Create positive and ongoing customer awareness
