SUMMARY:
Packaging Process Leader (Pharmaceutical)
Based in Wadeville Germiston
The basic salary band is R40k – R45k a month. Salary will not be increased after 3 months.
There is a discretionary bonus based on company performance targets per financial year.
20 days leave per annum
Once permanent, medical aid compulsory and we pay 50%.
Once permanent, pension fund is compulsory. Employee contributes 7.5%. The company contributes 10% which includes pension, life, disability, funeral, spousal cover.
We have a shut down in December and leave will need to be taken in this time. In December 2025 we will be closed 15 Dec 2025 – 2 Jan 2026. As the person will be new, they will be given the option to go negative on their annual leave as a once off.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
Will run the packaging department and report to the Factory Manager.
Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred
The ideal candidate will have experience in production planning, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) measurements, monitoring, and improvement strategies
Education:
Grade 12 & A relevant post-matric qualification, such as a Certificate in GMP, Production Management, or a related field.
Minimum experience/qualification
- Minimum 3-years’ experience as a production process leader, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of production safety regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of production process and GMP regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
This individual will need to work Monday – Thursday 8h00-16h30 and Friday 8h00 – 15h30.
