Workshop Technician

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Red seal or Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical field or a related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in a similar role, preferably in a workshop or equipment repair environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent technical knowledge of workshop machinery, equipment repair techniques, and maintenance practices.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software is preferred.
Proven experience as an equipment repair technician or similar role.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Familiarity with a variety of equipment types and brands.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
