Workshop Supervisor Tubular Services Required for a contract position in Mozambique NB Candidates must be located in Mozambique
POSITION INFO:
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to read, write, and speak/communicate in English.
Good level of Technical skills and Knowledge of Tubular running equipment.
Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components and systems.
Ability to drive and Operate Forklift safely.
Undertake all job-related duties as directed by the Service Delivery Coordinator/Manager.
Workshop supervisor shall be responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the Tubular Service workshop.
Planning and monitoring work activities within the workshop, supervising all aspect of Tubular Services workshop activities including, maintenance of equipment, Mobilization/demobilisation of equipment to and from the rig, Asset tracking and transfer, Spare parts management, Quality Control, HSE lead ensuring the safety of workshop personnel in daily activates and other duties as assigned by the Service Deliver Manager.
Full awareness and compliance with HSES, Quality, and operational workshop Policies and procedures.
Participate in all Pre/post job planning, safety, and operational meetings daily.
Assist in workshop equipment maintenance, mobilization, and receiving activates as operationally required.
Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, industry experience, and product line training required.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience as workshop supervisor, working in all aspects of casing and tubular running operations, specifically.
