SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agricultural Industry based in George, Western Cape is looking for an experienced Workshop Service Advisor / Warranty / Costing

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job purpose:
  • Communicate with the Customer – receive and make communications for Tractor/Implement repairs and/or Service.
  • Review Systems Information from a CRM perspective to follow up with Old Customers. Make calls to find work for the Workshop.
  • Uphold and build the name of S HADDAD AG with our
  • Customer base – as far as possible over time becoming the main contact person for workshop request functions.
  • Document all the customer requirements for the service on the system
  • Check that we have the required Parts for booked services – ahead of the actual service.
  • Communicates with the Technicians to keep up to date with their work progress – In Field and On site Technicians.
  • Check who will bear the costs of work being performed –
  • Customer or Warranty Claim.
  • Ensure that the Customer is quoted for each job and that we have as far as possible a PO from the customer authorizing the cost of work being done.
  • Ensure Customer work is completed as quick as possible.
  • Make follow up calls with the Customer after the work is completed to get feedback.
  • Filing of all Workshop job card documentation for easy retrieval purposes.
  • Parts not used for each job should be returned to Parts department and appropriately documented.
  • Open Job Cards for Work to be done – Ensure work function is described fully and that Serial / Engine numbers are properly documented.
  • Ensure that Parts required are booked to the Job.
  • Ensure that Labour Hours are booked to the job.
  • Work closely with the Parts department for Parts that have to be Ordered and follow up.
  • Work extended hours when required to ensure finished jobs can be closed and invoiced.
  • Must have knowledge of OEM Warranty rules.
  • Ensure that job card Labour hours and Parts rates charged are in accordance with OEM Warranty guidelines.
  • Must submit Warrantly claim invoices to the OEM as soon as possible.
  • Must follow up at least weekly as to the OEM processing of those claims.
  • Must keep accurate and update records for retrieval.
  • Build and Maintain good working relationship with OEM Warranty staff.
Requirements :
  • Drivers license
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial, agricultural or construction industry
  • Computer literate
  • Prior experience with Omni
